Wine, like worship, takes us to other worldly places in our mind. Whether or not we wake up with a headache is sometimes determined by what is in the wine as much as how much we drank
Wine can contain chemicals, preservatives and additives which provide an initial pleasant feeling and a long term disability. Likewise, worship can contain emotional and mental patterns that drag us back into the sludge of meanness, anxiety and insecurity just as soon as we leave the sanctuary.
Our job as humans is to polish our consciousness so that we carry our sanctuaries with us and make a spiritual wine that clears our path to eternity. I like my wine drawn from the aquifer of life. A wine that presses diverse life experiences into a savory blend:, distills them to rightly discern Truths that are life giving– filters the blend to remove arrogance, and ignorance. Aged to soften smart ideas into wisdom and served with a sparkling essence of love. This is how I like to make my wine. For you see while the wine in a glass is crushed, processed and filtered by someone else, your spiritual wine is filtered by you alone. You have the absolute power to remove any and all elements that cap your high and derail your destiny.
