Giving is a dance between your heart and the cosmos.
Giving is much more than a commercial transaction between humans. Our gifts impact the air, water and earth around us so let’s remember to give ourselves to Earth Mother. For the last few hundred years, humanity has been treated to a colonial ideology that separates spirit from material matter and separates creator from creation. This ideology then makes matter/things the most important part of our interactions with each other. A thing focused society blurs our responsibility to regenerate life in Earth and not just extract from it. Consider a climate change during this season of giving, and focus on ways you can give yourself to Earth Mother.
One way we give to Earth Mother is through my Coming Home to Nature course. There we facilitate healing and wholeness by remembering your identity as a part of Creation. This course will teach you how to experience Nature as your teacher so that as you mature, you can embrace her more fully as your healer. It’s a time to renew and reshape a relationship with Earth. In our Coming Home to Nature course we invite each one of us to reshape our relationship with Mother Earth in deeper ways that strengthen our sense of identity and balance the way we operate in the world. We are creating a roadmap to maintain calm in the midst of turbulent times. It’s also a fun diverse space to bring your spirit and matter back together
Giving Ensures the eternal abundance of the universe
is recirculated amongst humans
When we reunite creation with creator, we decolonize our spirituality. You could say we bring father god–the spirit- back into harmony with mother god-the matter. It is much easier to give from the heart with spirit and matter reunited. In heart space there are no words and we are free to harmonize all our relations within the eternal spiral of life. When we give from the heart we ensure that the eternal abundance of the universe is recirculated amongst humans. Abundance is maintained when things are recycled back into nature to feed the regeneration process. Recycling improves our social climates as well as weather climates!
Another way we give ourselves to Earth Mother is through the Indigenous Mothers Community Land Trust.. Our goals are to cultivate and nurture safe space where L’nu ancestral wisdom is embedded in site design, harvesting practices and communal activities. We envision families learning to grow food and medicine together, earth/landworkers being paid fairly for their labor, and young adults developing resilience leadership skills they implement in their own neighborhoods. We provide holistic support through the rematriation and ceremony components of the nursery and mutual aid gardens.
In order to accomplish our goals, we must first secure land where we are sovereign. We are raising funds to purchase 102 acres in the Mid Hudson Valley of New York. Give to this campaign and give to rematriation where land is restored to its sacred geometry design and where women lead the community back into sacred relationship with land and each other. In return the community receives economic empowerment through the native and medicinal plant nursery, resilience training, and healing retreats. We have raised the downpayment and ask you to consider a contribution so this knowledge spreads widely and nurtures deeply.
