As Grandmother, theologian, and permaculture professor, I invite you to experience the Divine Feminine as a calming agent and unifier in our ecological and spiritual work.

 A Bible student since the age of eight, I also have certifications as a yogini in Kashmir Shaivism; Odincini in Akan Spiritual United Order; pastor and spiritual director in United Church of Christ.

I now study the medicine wheel in my Mig Maw (Mic Mac) lineage. By engaging our oneness with  Creator, nature and one another we can calm our social crises and climate chaos.

After training young adults in sacred ecology, I co-founded Soil & Souls with my students. We are a worker-owned native and medicinal plant nursery that provides leadership training and community education in resilience. We seek to empower 300 resilience leaders from 30 African American communities. 

 

 

 

Nature holds secrets to our personal inner peace as well as peace on earth. This devotional comments on scripture, offers prayers, and asks questions as a layered way to unveil those secrets.
